RPO Performs Two Philharmonic Concert Programs in November

ROCHESTER – The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) performs two exciting Philharmonics concerts in November.
First, international violinist Augustin Hadelich returns to Rochester as the featured soloist in Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto. The concerts take place in Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre Thursday, November 11 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, November 13 at 8 p.m. Guest conductor Larry Rachleff makes his RPO debut with this program, which also includes Berlioz’s Roman Carnival Overture and Brahms’ Symphony No. 1.
Then, the following week, in Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre, on Thursday, November 18 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, November 20 at 8 p.m. internationally acclaimed, and Rochester favorite, Olga Kern returns to perform Rachmaninoff’s beloved Second Piano Concerto. The program also includes Music Director Christopher Seaman as he leads the RPO in Dvorak’s Carnival Overture and Sibelius’ Symphony No. 1.
