Embrace the magic of Mozart midsummer, as guest conductor Arild Remmereit returns to Rochester. You’ll hear the RPO debut of our guest violinist Joan Kwuon, who the New York Times described as having “fiery, intensely musical and impassioned playing.” As befits the season, we’re performing Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6, “Pastoral,” Mozart’s brilliant yet tender Violin Concerto No. 5, and selections from Grieg’s beautiful Peer Gynt Suite.
$30 general admission. Subscriptions are also available. Use this link for more information.
NEW this year—come early and enjoy a wine-tasting at 6:00 pm, and pre-concert chamber music at 6:30 pm featuring members of the RPO! And the Rochester Plaza Hotel is offering RPO patrons free parking and a special dining offer.
