Arild Remmereit ushers in the season of renewal—a Spring Festival of Mozart and more! Two separate programs, featuring the RPO’s string, wind, and percussion sections. On Thursday, the strings and percussion play Bartόk and Sibelius; then the winds perform Mozart’s glorious Gran Partita. On Saturday, the winds spotlight Strauss and Stravinsky, the percussion plays a Christopher Rouse piece, then the strings take on Tchaikovsky and Mozart’s Serenata Notturna. Plus, Fanfare der Stadt Wien, arranged by the RPO's own Wesley Nance. Two great concerts over one festive weekend.
Pre-Concert Chat one hour before the performance.
