About the Intermediate Concert Series
Each year the RPO offers performances for 15,000 4th-6th graders at the Eastman Theatre. Students are bused in from all over the Greater Rochester Area to enjoy a one-hour, age-appropriate concert designed to connect orchestral music to the intermediate curriculum. In this way, children learn about music in a cultural and historical context.
