MOZART  Symphony No. 41, “Jupiter”

Fresh off a gold-medal win at the 2013 Van Cliburn Competition that had the crowd "cheering him like a rock star," (Cincinnati Enquirer) Vadym Kholodenko's mind-blowing talents are on full display in Prokofiev's scintillating concerto, a virtuosic whirlwind that's guaranteed to bring down the house. The program also features Mozart's 41st and final symphony, an intricate and innovative work that showcases a creative genius at the height of his powers.

The 2014–15 Season is presented by

Philharmonics Series co-sponsor:

Vadym Kholodenko's performance is made possible by The Alfred Davis and Brunhilde Knapp Artists Performance Fund
