Michael Colvin
Irish-born, Canadian-raised tenor Michael Colvin appears to universal critical acclaim on opera and concert stages around the world with performances throughout Canada, the United States, Britain and Europe. A graduate of the University of Toronto, Opera Division, Mr. Colvin also trained with the Canadian Opera Company’s Ensemble Studio, the Britten-Pears School in Aldeburgh, England and Canada’s Banff Centre for the Arts. Mr. Colvin has received numerous awards and scholarships, including the Canadian Opera Foundation Award and a Chalmers Performing Arts Award. He can heard on the NAXOS, CBC and Warner Music labels.
