Valley Manor - Around the Town Concert

Michael Butterman conducts this free "Around the Town" concert at Valley Manor, dedicated to the memory of long-time RPO supporter and Valley Manor resident, Alfred Davis. The concert is part of Valley Manor's Fifth Annual Seniorsfirst Musicfest, and will take place under a large tent set up in the west parking lot.
The concert opens with Leroy Anderson's Serenata followed by an array of lighthearted classics including serenades by Mozart and Brahms, Elgar's Salut d'amour, and selections from Mendelssohn's A Midsummer Night's Dream. The concert also displays some pops favorites including selections from South Pacific and the patriotic Armed Forces Salute, honoring veterans from each of the five branches of the military.
Parking is available along East Avenue. Come early to enjoy limited covered seating.
Around the Town concerts are sponsored by the Max and Victoria Dreyfus Foundation, Rochester Gas & Electric, Marie C. and Joseph C. Wilson Foundation, and Xerox Corporation.
