It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for—the long-anticipated announcement of Arild Remmereit’s first Symphony 101 season! Much like his exciting inaugural Philharmonics season with the RPO, Maestro Remmereit is planning innovative and engaging programming.
This special series engages audiences by telling the stories behind the music, taking a more in-depth look at the lives of the composers and what was happening in the world when these pieces were written. Among other things, he will explore the relationship between music and dance, the works of Beethoven, connections with the Eastman School of Music, and music from his three musical homes: Vienna, Norway, and the United States.
And… he would like subscribers to help him decide what to perform next season! As a special “thank you” to all those who subscribe into his inaugural Symphony 101 season by May 27th, Arild will be asking you to vote on two different works you would like to see performed during his first two Symphony 101 concerts!
This is a historic season you won’t want to miss. Arild will energize our already-successful Symphony 101 series in ways that are fresh and thrilling. And he has promised to bring us great and compelling music we will be eager to get to know.
- Friday evenings at 7:30 (except where noted) and Sunday afternoons at 2:00 pm
- Performance Hall at Hochstein
