I knew I would make music my career when I was accepted to Leningrad Music School for gifted children at the age of 10.
Most influential teachers: My first teacher, Michael Melamedov.
Favorite composer and/or musical period: Sergei Prokofiev
What do you most enjoy about performing? I like discovering something new in the old music.
What is your favorite part of being a member of the RPO? The ability to interact with and perform for a wonderful community.
When I'm not onstage, you might find me teaching violin or chamber music and doing arrangements for different string ensembles.
I love to dine at Aladdin's.
My favorite thing about Rochester is its incredible capacity for the arts.
What do you think is the Orchestra's most important role in our community? To bring the pleasure of quality music which enriches us all.
