Christopher Seaman, conductor

Join Christopher Seaman and your RPO as we discuss and discover the tricks and techniques composers use to evoke emotion in music from the dark side of life to the sublime. After each concert, the ever-charming and charismatic Christopher Seaman will answer your questions and further enlighten and entertain you.

To help reveal how music communicates emotions, the RPO will perform excerpts from Handel’s oratorio Solomon, Mozart’s Overture to Don Giovanni, “Conversations of Beauty and the Beast” from Ravel’s Mother Goose Suite, Frederick Delius’ The Walk to the Paradise Garden, Mahler’s Symphony No. 4, Bruckner’s Symphony No. 6, Jennifer Higdon’s blue cathedral and Berlioz’s “Hungarian March” from The Damnation of Faust

General admission tickets are $22.
