My earliest musical memory is probably from the womb. My father was also a principal bass player so I was exposed to music every day of my life.
I knew I would make music my career when I got a job!
Most influential teachers: My father, who was the only teacher I ever had.
Favorite composer: Sibelius
What do you most enjoy about performing? Listening to the music.
What is your favorite part of being a member of the RPO? My friends in the bass section.
When I'm not on stage, you might find me kayaking in Canada.
I always thought it might be fun to be a forest ranger.
I love to dine at Max of Eastman Place. I really like the chef there.
My favorite thing about Rochester is that it’s not too hard to get around.
What do you think is the Orchestra's most important role in our community? To bring great music to people to discover.
