My earliest musical memory is taking piano lessons at six years old.
I knew I would make music my career when I was a senior in high school, although at that point I didn't know it would be in performance.
Most influential teachers: Benton Miner, my high school band director
Favorite composers: Brahms, Mahler and Rachmaninoff
What do you most enjoy about performing? Literally sitting within the sound!
What is your favorite part of being a member of the RPO? The music!
When I'm not onstage, you might find me working on behalf of the musicians in one context or another.
My favorite thing about Rochester is my short commute to work.
