People would be surprised to know... I am a third degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do
What do you most enjoy about living in the Rochester area? Easy access to city and country.
What are your favorite restaurants in Rochester? We like to prepare our own meals.
The RPO is essential to the Rochester community because... Because it provides a great educational program for all ages of children. It's a great way for adults to relieve their stress by listening to beautiful music.
What sports team(s) do you root for? NY Yankees

What is your favorite way to spend your day off? Visiting grandson in Corning, NY
What is your most memorable musical experience? Performing Franck Sonata with Maria Louisa Fiani
Biography
Mary Ann Wukovitz has been a member of the RPO cello section since 1972. A native of Hamilton, N.Y., Ms. Wukovitz came to Rochester in 1969 to attend the Eastman School of Music, where she earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Music. She has lived in Pittsford for 34 years with her husband Peter, a retired cellist from the RPO, and has taught private lessons for 40 years in the Rochester area.
