Nazareth College Bach Children's Chorus

The Nazareth College Bach Children's Chorus is comprised of students ages eight through 15 from throughout the greater Rochester area. Founded by its current director, Karla Krogstad, in 1989, the Chorus has a very busy performing schedule, singing with numerous organizations in the Rochester area. The children have sung in many languages, including Spanish, German, French, Korean, Russian, Hebrew, Latin, Polish and Swahili, and always perform from memory. The Bach Children’s Chorus has toured throughout the eastern United States and Canada, performing often with orchestras and other youth choirs. They perform regularly with the RPO for The Nutcracker. The Chorus is part of the community music program of Nazareth College.
