Founded by Timothy M. Draper in 1987, the Rochester City Ballet is a performing company with a distinguished presence in the Rochester and Western New York region. RCB's reputation reaches beyond upstate New York as well. They annually bring to town talented teachers, choreographers and dancers to enrich the experiences of the company and of Rochesterians. Former company members are now dancing with the world-renowned New York City Ballet and the American Ballet Theatre, among others. This marks the Rochester City Ballet's seventh year of collaboration with the RPO for the annual production of The Nutcracker.
