Membership FAQ

I buy tickets to RPO concerts all season long. Isn't that the same as membership?

Ticket purchases are vital to the Orchestra's success. Ticket revenues, however, only pay for about 40% of what you see on stage. Your Annual Campaign membership helps bridge the gap between earned income and operating costs.

Why am I being asked to renew my membership support now?
The Annual Campaign begins in September and the majority of pledges are made by the end of December. You can pledge your support at any time during the Annual Campaign and fulfill your commitment by August 31, the end of the RPO's fiscal year.

I want to support the RPO, but I prefer to pay my pledge in installments. Is that possible?
Yes, just tell us how many installments you prefer and we will bill you accordingly.

Are there other ways I can support the RPO?
Individuals can sponsor a concert, conductor, or guest artist. There are also planned giving opportunities available, such as charitable trusts and bequests. Please contact the RPO Development Office or your financial advisor for more information. Additionally, there are numerous volunteer opportunities.
