Kathryn Lewek
 Admired for her bell-like quality and expressive voice, soprano Kathryn Lewek has been lauded for her operatic and oratorio performances throughout the United States and Europe, and is quickly building a reputation for her vocal interpretations of contemporary art song as well. Lewek made her debut on the Perelman stage at Carnegie Hall in February 2011. She recently made another important debut performance in October of 2010, in Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center. She won the Opera Foundation’s Vocal Scholarship Competition in 2011 and has been offered a 10-month contract with the Deutsche Oper in Berlin for the 2011-12 Season.
Lewek earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Vocal Performance studying voice with Dr. Robert McIver from the Eastman School of Music, where she was also awarded the Performance Certificate in Voice. She now resides outside of New York City and studies voice with world-renowned soprano Diana Soviero.
