Jeff – drums
Music is an important aspect of Campbell family life. Their living room is full of instruments including a grand piano, two cellos, three string basses, and various brass instruments. There’s also a drum set in the attic which gets played from time to time.
Nelsen (17) is a senior at Penfield High School where he is a member of the Wind Ensemble (tuba) and the Jazz Ensemble. Weston (16) is a sophomore at Penfield High School where he is a member of the Wind Ensemble (euphonium) and Orchestra (cello). He also plays electric bass in a rock band. Louisa (13) is in eighth grade at Bay Trail Middle School where she is a member of the Concert Band (clarinet) and the choir.
Gibson (11) is a fifth grader at Indian Landing Elementary School and plays in the band (tenor saxophone) and orchestra (string bass). Jackson (9) is a fourth grader and plays trumpet in the band and cello in the orchestra at Indian Landing Elementary School. Lydia (8) is a third grader and recently began studies on the violin.
Sharleen is an active accompanist/pianist and has worked as a music teacher in the Churchville and Gates School districts. She teaches private piano as well as teaching piano to all six of her children. Jeff is a Professor of Jazz Bass at the Eastman School and a member of the RPO. Both Sharleen and Jeff grew up in Utah, where they graduated from Brigham Young University.
