Michael Connor

Connor_Michael.jpgMichael Connor makes his RPO debut with this performance of Justin Locke’s Peter vs. The Wolf. Connor is an award-winning graduate from The Crane School of Music at Potsdam College who resides in Syracuse, N.Y. His professional performance credits include three seasons as a resident artist with Music Theatre of Wichita, two international tours as Nephew Fred and Young Scrooge in Charles Jones’ musical adaptation of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, and dozens of principal roles with leading American music theater and opera companies including numerous Syracuse Opera productions spanning more than 20 consecutive seasons. Connor originated his portrayal of the District Attorney in several previous productions of Peter vs. The Wolf with the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra. This versatile performer can be heard as a featured soloist on the CD High Hopes, celebrating Syracuse’s legendary songwriter Jimmy Van Heusen, and as Sir Uellu in the Full Cast audio recording of the musical novel Fairest by author Gail Carson Levine of Ella Enchanted fame.
