Brenda Tremblay
Brenda Tremblay’s radio experiences began at the age of nine under a makeshift tent with a portable Panasonic cassette player. She has loved playing with sound and music ever since. Tremblay currently serves as the weekday morning host on WXXI-FM, Rochester’s full-time classical station, and as the host and producer of Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra broadcasts. She has interviewed many leading artists and musicians such as Yo-Yo Ma, Renée Fleming, and Sharon Isbin, and she has won several major broadcasting awards, including three Gracies from the Association of Women in Radio and Television. An NEA Fellow and professional musician, Brenda also serves as Music Director and Organist at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Brockport, New York. She likes birds.
