Augustin Hadelich
Augustin Hadelich has established himself as an eloquent and unique voice among the new generation of violinists. Gold medalist of the 2006 International Violin Competition of Indianapolis, he was recognized with more than a half dozen of its special awards. Mr. Hadelich made his Carnegie Hall orchestral debut in January 2008, and this season, he has gone on to debut with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the symphonies of Tokyo, Jacksonville, and Alabama, the Hamburg Camerata and the Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra in Budapest. The 2007-2008 season marked his professional recording debut with Haydn’s complete violin concerti for Naxos.
