David Gleichman

Hailing from just outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, baritone David Gleichman made his role debut as Mr. Maraczek in Eastman Opera Theatre’s Fall production of She Loves Me in November 2013. His other theatrical credits with the school include ensemble roles in The Bartered Bride (2011) by Smetana and Kurt Weill’s Street Scene (2012). He has performed in the chorus of several notable unstaged Kodak Hall productions, including Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis (2011), Benjamin Britten’s War Requiem (2012), and, most recently, the Bach Magnificat this past December with the RPO. Mr. Gleichman will be making his Carnegie hall debut in Merry Mount--performing the role of Second Puritan--with the RPO’s Carnegie Hall “Spring for Music” Festival in May 2014.
